NSFAS is the National Student Financial Aid Scheme in South Africa. It helps qualifying students pay for their tertiary education by providing them with loans and grants. Applying for NSFAS can be a long and complicated process, but thankfully it’s possible to cancel your application online if you decide that you no longer wish to pursue funding from NSFAS. Here we will explain how to do this step-by-step.
Step 1: Log into Your MyNSFAS Account
The first step is to log into your MyNSFAS account using your email address and password. If you haven’t already registered an account, go ahead and create one now before continuing with the cancellation process.
Step 2: Find the “Cancel Application” Option
Once you’ve logged in, navigate to the “My Applications” section on the left side of the page and then click on “View All Applications”. This will bring up a list of all applications associated with your account. Select any application that you want to cancel by clicking on its name or number, then scroll down until you find an option labeled “Cancel Application” at bottom right corner of screen. Click this button when ready proceed further with cancelling your application
Step 3 : Fill Out Cancellation Form
You should now be presented with a form asking why exactly are wanting to cancel your application . Choose one from given options provided , write out detailed reason in text box , if necessary . Then read terms & conditions applicable when submitting cancellation request carefully , tick checkbox below once done reading it all . Finally hit submit button at bottom when finished filling out form correctly .
Step 4 : Confirm Cancellation Request
After submitting cancellation request , user will get redirected back onto their MyNFSF account where they need confirm request was successful via confirmation message displayed top part of webpage . Congratulations ! You have successfully cancelled NFSFA application online without having visit any physical offices or fill out additional paperwork manually – saving time & effort!
