Who Is Mangcobo?
Mangcobo (real name: Nyalleng Thibedi) is an ex-convict who was released from prison after serving four years for murder. She returned home only to find out that her husband, Sbu, had remarried while she was away and had two young children with his new wife, Nosipho. Despite this betrayal, Mangcobo managed to accept her husband’s new family and build a strong bond with them over time.
She has also become close friends with MaNgcobo’s daughter from another relationship – Fikile – who she treats like her own child even though they are not related by blood.
